Surgical procedures

General surgery at Garden Clinic Hospital includes the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the abdominal cavity, gastrointestinal tract, abdominal wall, thyroid gland and anus, as well as various types of hernias. Procedures are planned individually depending on the diagnosis, severity of the condition and clinical indications. Treatment covers the entire process – from consultation and qualification, through preparation for hospitalization, to surgery and postoperative follow-up.

Scope of general surgery procedures

The general surgery services at Garden Clinic Hospital include a wide range of procedures: treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, proctological surgery, treatment of pilonidal cysts, gallbladder and appendix surgery, thyroid surgery, bariatric surgery, as well as the treatment of inguinal, umbilical, linea alba and abdominal hernias.

This broad scope allows us to treat both chronic conditions and those requiring surgical intervention due to pain, functional impairment or inflammation.

Abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery

Garden Clinic Hospital performs procedures including laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication for the treatment of GERD, open and laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and laparoscopic appendectomy. These procedures are performed in patients with symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux, gallstones, inflammation and other conditions requiring surgical treatment.

Proctological surgery and pilonidal cyst treatment

Proctological procedures include hemorrhoid surgery, DGHAL / DGRAR treatment, anal fissure surgery, incision and drainage of perianal abscesses, and removal of anal condylomas.

Pilonidal cysts are also treated – from simple excision to more advanced surgical techniques selected according to the extent of the lesion and local tissue conditions.

Thyroid, bariatric and hernia surgery

Our services include partial and total thyroidectomy for conditions requiring surgical treatment.

Bariatric procedures include sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, mini gastric bypass, ESG and revision surgery. Garden Clinic Hospital also performs surgery for inguinal, umbilical, linea alba and abdominal hernias using both open and laparoscopic techniques.

When should you see a general surgeon?

A surgical consultation is recommended if you have symptoms suggesting a hernia, chronic anal conditions, cysts, abscesses, thyroid lesions, symptoms of gallbladder disease, gastroesophageal reflux or other conditions that may require surgical treatment.

The treatment process begins with qualification based on a physical examination, diagnostic tests and an assessment of the indications for surgery.

Surgical treatment at Garden Clinic Hospital

The choice of treatment depends on the clinical condition and may involve laparoscopic, open, proctological, bariatric or reconstructive techniques. The aim of surgery is to remove the underlying condition, improve organ function, reduce pain and minimize the risk of complications associated with an untreated disease.

To begin the qualification process for a consultation or surgical treatment, please contact Garden Clinic Hospital. Our reception team will provide organizational information, help you schedule an appointment and explain the next steps.
