Dermatology at Garden Clinic

The skin is the body’s protective barrier, but it is also a precise indicator of overall health. Dermatology at Garden Clinic is based on thorough diagnostics, an individual approach, and treatment that takes into account both symptoms and their underlying causes.

We diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases of the skin, scalp, and nails. We work together with allergists, endocrinologists, and clinical dietitians, because skin conditions often have a systemic, hormonal, or psychosomatic background.

What does a dermatologist do?

A dermatologist diagnoses and treats diseases of the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes. Dermatology covers both aesthetic concerns and serious inflammatory, autoimmune, cancerous, or infectious conditions.

In dermatological care, understanding the cause of skin changes is essential, as many of them result from hormonal, immune, or metabolic disorders, and even chronic stress. That is why treatment often requires not only pharmacotherapy, but also cooperation with other specialists and lifestyle changes.

A dermatologist treats, among others:

  • Acne, both teenage and adult acne, including treatment-resistant forms
  • Eczema and dermatitis, including atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis
  • Psoriasis, including atypical forms such as nail psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis
  • Autoimmune skin diseases, such as lichen planus, pemphigus, and lupus erythematosus
  • Skin infections: fungal, bacterial, and viral, including warts, herpes, and fungal infections of the feet and nails
  • Hair and scalp disorders, including alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, dandruff, and seborrhea
  • Pigmentation disorders, including vitiligo, hyperpigmentation, and melasma
  • Nail diseases, including onycholysis, fungal infections, brittleness, and deformities
  • Urticaria and allergic dermatoses, also as part of contact allergy diagnostics
  • Skin lesions of unknown origin, such as pigmented moles, fibromas, and keratoses
  • Cancerous and precancerous lesions, including early detection of skin cancer, melanoma, and basal cell carcinoma

Diagnostics: Trichoscopy, Dermoscopy, and Histopathological Examination In dermatology, preci

In dermatology, precise assessment of a lesion is essential. Thanks to fast access to diagnostic results, we can promptly implement appropriate treatment or plan the removal of a lesion if necessary.

At Garden Clinic, we perform:

  • Trichoscopy — a non-invasive examination of the scalp and hair follicles, allowing us to assess the type and cause of hair loss.
  • Dermoscopy — a digital examination of skin lesions, including moles, warts, and pigmented spots. It is helpful in cancer diagnostics and in distinguishing benign from malignant lesions.
  • Biopsy and histopathological examination — performed when a lesion requires detailed microscopic assessment.
