Barbara Chrzanowska, MD, PhD

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk. I hold a PhD in Medical Sciences and am a board-certified specialist in pediatric surgery and plastic surgery.

I completed my specialization in pediatric surgery at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Urology of the Medical University of Gdańsk in 2011. In the following years, I trained at the Department of Plastic Surgery of the Medical University of Gdańsk and obtained my board certification in plastic surgery in 2019.

• Vascular lesions, including hemangiomas and vascular malformations
• Congenital and acquired soft tissue defects
• Giant congenital melanocytic nevi
• Pigmented lesions and various skin lesions
• Laser treatments for scars and vascular lesions in pediatric and plastic surgery
• Reconstructive surgery

I am a member of the Polish Society of Pediatric Surgeons, the Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the European Club for Pediatric Burns (ECPB), and the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA).
